Towards a Fractal Universe
نویسنده
چکیده
In this short review we study the state of the art of the great challenge of contemporary physics which is reconcile Quantum Theory and its best contribution the Standard Model of Particle Physics and General Relativity. The reconciliation passes undoubtedly through the idea of a fractal universe. Mathematics Subject Classification: Primary 83F05. Secondary 83C45

A study on dimensions of Fractal geometry in Iranian architecture
The subject of geometry and proportions has been regarded as an issue which has a close relationship with architecture. Since the entire universe, living beings and the human geometry can be seen clearly, that’s why our unconscious essence has accustomed to these proportions whereby reflection of this mentality can be seen in the architect’s hands and thought in the architecture. It can witness...

In this talk, we touch upon the chaotic and fractal aspects of the Universe.
متن کاملA dynamical approach to a self-similar universe
We write a non-relativistic Lagrangian for a hierarchical universe. The equations of motion are solved numerically and the evolution of the fractal dimension is obtained for different initial conditions. We show that our model is homogeneous at the time of the last scattering, but evolves into a self-similar universe with a remarkably constant fractal dimension. We also show that the Hubble law...
متن کاملThe hierarchy of the preferred scales in the fractal universe
The fractal structure with a power index of 2 is considered within the framework of the universe with the linear law of evolution. The fractal structure arises due to the linear evolution of the scale of mass. Potential fluctuations connect two scales and thus define the preferred scales. The hierarchy of the preferred scales is developed which includes universe, superclusters, clusters of gala...
متن کاملJa n 19 98 Comment on the paper by L . Guzzo ” Is the Universe homogeneous ? ” 9 January 1998
This comment is in response to the paper by L. Guzzo recently appeared in “New Astronomy” related to our work. The subject of the discussion concerns the correlation properties of galaxy distribution in the available 3-d samples. There is a general agreement that galaxy structures exhibit fractal properties, at least up to some scale. However the presence of an eventual crossover towards homoge...
